In a classroom there is a mini lesson and then a time for structured practice. I am a firm believer that kids will learn more when they feel like they aren't learning. Incorporating centers is a huge goal of mine because it is a time to break the class up into groups to work on areas they may be struggling in but the students feel that it is time for them to play. Centers can be used in reading, writing and math so it's important to have a tools that can be use in different ways! All of these items in this project will help for our students to succeed. In kindergarten there is so much for them to learn because it is the first time a lot of these children are in school and it is so important for them to enjoy school because kindergarten sets the tone for their love of school.
