My students are amazing individuals that grow into genuinely good human beings. Most of my kids come from backgrounds that aren't usually the best nor are they generally enroute to a four year college. I fully believe that everyone should have the opportunity to make that choice instead of having that choice be taken away. My kids get wrapped up in our class's "family" and they really rely on each other to be motivational inspirations to further their success. Most of the time, I have kids that are in my room before school, during break and lunch, and most definitely after school just hanging out, doing homework, or encouraging each other to be involved in extra curricular activities. My kids inspire me everyday to be a better teacher for them.
