Words can not express how thankful the students in room 29 are for your donations. As soon I introduced these seating choices to the kiddos , they could not wait to use them. These future scholars enjoy having them option to choose their seats during workshop and independent work time. This flexible seating has increased engagement in our classroom.
The future scholars enjoying sitting on the bean bags and chairs during our morning meeting and during reading time. This comfy seats has increased reading stamina, engagement and had build students ownership in learning. The wobble chairs are popular seating options for our classroom during daily class time. Once again your generosity has impacted my students education and academic growth in areas.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Olga Graham Inspiring Teachers Fund and 3 other donors.

Flexible seating allows to engage in their own learning during writing and reader's workshop. The cushions allows students to use the classroom environment and space to complete their work and stay on task. All students have different learning abilities that must be promoted in a classroom. The ability to allow children to choose their own seating builds their stamina and empowers to grow as a learner. The bands allows students to stay active in their seats while engaged in learning. The stools and inflatable donut ball allows students to have options during workshop while improving concentration, improving posture, and focus in their work. The students will make effective choices while working in partnership during reader's workshop and during small groups. Students will be self-motivated learners that will be productive while learning, and reading to succeed in a safe and comfortable environment.
