The flexible moving seats, such as balance balls, wobble chairs, and comfy chairs, benefit my students because, it helps them stay focused and keeps them from wanting to move around in and out of the chairs. I have bought gym bands for all my students, put them on the legs of the chairs, and they help them stay focused as they kick the band on their chair. I would like to have something a little more movable for my students in hopes that it will better assist them in staying in their seats and being on task with assignments. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component. My students will be more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given “special” seating arrangements.
