My goal is to provide my students with the ability to check out various museums and places through the power of Virtual Reality. With VR headsets hooked up to the computer, my social studies students will be able to take "trips" and "tours" to museums that would take months to fund raise and coordinate for field trips. In this low-income area, many families would not be able to afford such trips. This idea of taking field trips in the classroom will also help with removing lost time from other classes during the day/week, being able to revisit the places whenever they want, and removing the hassle/stress of trying to meet a fundraising goal for a field trip!

About my class
