Technology-its capability, its use, and its ease of access is constantly changing. In 2011, the chief technology officer of IBM's Global Business Services stated that because of the incredible growth in technology, “The codified information base of the world is believed to double every 11 hours." As we move further into the 21st century, there are many fantastic and engaging ways to use technology in the classroom. It's really amazing to see students take charge of their learning through technology and to use it as a way to research, engage in, and use for authentic publishing. Our classroom is getting close to having enough Chromebooks for each student, but we don't have a charging station for them. Believe it or not, there may have been a dish rack or two used to try and create a space to charge (which obviously didn't go well). My students need a charging cart that can house all of our Chromebooks for instant organized storage, charging capability, and to keep these precious tools safe.
