  • Learning through Math Games & Other Materials

    Funded May 10, 2024

Thank you so much for this donation! We are so appreciative. Some of these items will help us in math throughout the school year. It will help make our math lessons more interactive, engaging, and hands-on for my students. It will also help support my students that were struggling with certain concepts, such as subtraction and making a ten as a strategy to help them add faster. This will make a major impact on the lives - of a first grade deserving, hard-working, and very grateful class. (Their teacher is really grateful.)”

  • Let's Make Math Centers Fun Again!

    Funded Jan 13, 2024

Thank you so much for giving my scholars this opportunity and gift! My scholars love our math center materials that came inside the math kit. Due to these center activities, scholars now have the chance to work together and learn from one another. This kit also made planning and preparing center materials easier as a teacher, and I will be able to focus more on scholars' learning and meeting their needs. Before having access to this kit, I was creating materials from scratch, which took a lot of my planning time. My scholars were so excited and full of joy when they saw the materials. Parents also were excited because this meant that their child's needs would get met and that they had the proper materials to learn. Our school was currently unable to make this purchase, so we are very thankful. Again, thank you so much!

Now, my scholars are looking forward to math centers everyday.

Again, thank you so much. I hope you enjoyed the photos.”

  • Learning through Math Games & Other Materials

    Funded Dec 18, 2023

Thank you so much for giving my scholars this opportunity and gift! My scholars have loved our literacy center materials and literacy activities from Teachers Pay Teachers thanks to you all. We now have five literacy centers rotating during our center time to support what they have learned during phonics. Scholars are having so much fun while learning. The centers varies from practicing writing high frequency words and complete sentences to activities where they are manipulating and changes words. Due to these center activities, scholars also have the chance to work together and learn from one another. And, most of all, scholars have been showing growth and progress in their data and exams.

My scholars were so excited and full of joy when they first saw the materials. They wanted to know who donated the materials for them and who cared about them so much to do this for them. Parents were also excited because this meant that their child's needs would get met.

Now, my scholars are looking forward to centers everyday, making everyday connections to their learning, and making progress in their academics.

Again, thank you so much. I hope you enjoyed the photos.”

By donating to this project, you will be helping my students learn in a variety of ways, so they can receive individualized instruction in both reading and math. Differentiation instruction is significant to helping a child gain progress in any subject at their own comfort level. With these two new chromebooks, the students in my 3rd grade classroom will be given the opportunity to practice their fact fluency in multiplication and division along with watching math videos to aid them in understanding math concepts. My students will also be able to write and type their own information books like an author using Chromebooks as well. Lastly, you will help my students gain a variety of learning experiences that will help them be ready for the 21st century, since technology is advancing. Learning how to use a computer is a skill that is needed to obtain a job in the future and to be successful in college. With this opportunity, my students will be given the skills to be ready for the real world.
