My students are learning not only core content, such as math, science, and literacy but also 21st century skills like problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. The tagboard and markers will be used for cooperative projects including math problem solving and word problem creation. The ten frames will be used for students to share how they have solved problems - showing their critical thinking skills! The sentence strips and markers will be used for math vocabulary and equation creations. The Manikins will be used during geometry group work. "The principle goal of education is to create men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply of repeating what other generations have done—men who are creative, inventive, and discoverers." - Jean Piaget
