  • Making Music Dreams Come True

    Thank you so much for helping our school finding their true passions with your donation. Thanks to your compassionate hearts we were able to rescue an at risk young teenager who would only draw pot leaves, would make machine guns out of paper, and would not learn in school. I know his plans were to leave school, but I will show you the pictures of his work. I will show more students who were impacted by our work. I knew that after deciding to work for low teaching pay, I would find good people who would help my students and children thrive. The reaction of my students when they received the materials was of astonishment. They love playing their flutes, and I was able to give flutes to all people in school. We also made a school band with your help. Our students

    have played in the Christmas presentation for teachers and students, and played for the students next day. After that they played in the awards ceremony, and the goal is to practice more for the graduation, and play with them each school year. Thank you for all your support.     The purpose of this letter is to thank you profoundly for your help funding the needs for the students at Multicultural high school. Our students are utilizing each of the materials you have funded, which have helped them to succeed academically and motivate to learn and practice their learning. For every project we do in my classroom, I remember how you have helped me so much to accomplish them, as it would not be possible without the supplies you helped to donate. I will always remember how much you have helped me during my first year as a teacher.”

    This classroom project was brought to life by Neukom Family Foundation and one other donor.
The materials listed in this project will help students produce classroom learning, and promote a supportive classroom culture, that unites the classroom, and raises the self-esteem of all students. For example, I will utilize the birthday chart to note each student's birthday, and the class will have a birthday box with goodies for each birthday person. Also, the basic classroom materials, like the timer, will maximize instructional time everyday of the school year. The stability balls will allow hyperactive and students taking physical therapy to recover their posture, and maintain ergonomic. Also, the class organization materials, like, the classroom mailbox, and the organization cart, will allow the teaching days to run smoothly and organized.
