I am a new special education teacher this year. I have seen the advantages of utilizing iPads for special education, but I unfortunately do not have the resources to obtain iPads for my classroom. The majority of my students lack the fine motor skills required for writing, which creates limitations. The iPad, with all of the apps for education, opens a whole new learning experience for these children. These iPads will allow my students to work independently and successfully on skills without the frustration that comes because of their poor fine motor skills. Myself and my students would greatly appreciate this gift.
