  • Printing Makes It Easier

    Funded Nov 29, 2023

It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter on behalf of my students, to you for your kindness and willingness to give, toward "Printing Makes It Easier" . With this donation I am able to create and print worksheets to address the specific needs of my English Language Learners. Worksheets are printed in color and differentiated. Books on the students reading levels and interest levels are printed in color in order to maintain focus while reading and build reading comprehension.

The scholars were so excited when they observed pages been printed for the first time. One of my student , Bolu shouted, "Look! Its coming out. It have colors too! They enjoy the books that are printed specifically for them. They look forward to reading with their peers.

Thank you for your kind and generous donations! We are very appreciative!!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. T.

  • Blooming Scientists

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

I am elated to know that you believed in our classroom so much that you choose to donate to us. The scholars were excited to rip the box open once I shared what was inside the box. Our scholars show more interest in exploring the science areas with the new items that were donated. They are making predictions among themselves about what might sink or float, what attracts magnets and what don't. A scholar asked, "Why did this animal sink?" The other responded, "Dah, you know its heavy. Right."

With the "Color Changing Touch Board", the scholars now have a better understanding of how body temperature changes things. One scholar was observed rubbing her hands together before touching the board. The smile on her face was priceless.”

    With gratitude,

  • Individualized Reading Center With iPad!

    Funded Dec 19, 2018

It is with great pleasure that I submit this impact letter for your generous donation to our project. With the Individualized Reading Center my students have made gains and strides with their reading.

The English Language Learners moved from learning letters and sounds to reading emergent books. Having this tool have provided the students with the " vehicle" necessary to be better readers. Some students have moved three reading levels. Now my students are more confident readers and are eager to read.

Thank you for helping my students to become independent readers.

    With Gratitude,

  • Learning Through Technology

    Funded Feb 13, 2016

    Dear Donors,

This letter serves to express our sincere gratitude for your generous donations to our educational quest. As a result of your donations, the students reading levels have improved significantly. Your gifts helped to enhance the students' reading levels. We read books via the internet and answered questions thus improving the reading comprehension skills. Furthermore, shared reading was more pleasurable because we did not have to photocopy pages from books. We were able to share the same text whole class when the text was projected.

Additionally, viewing educational videos helped to enhance the learning process even further. This have left my students more curious especially during our science lessons as it tapped on the visual and auditory learners.

Thanks again for making this possible.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. T.

The students are from diverse population and mostly from low income families. They are eager to learn but in many cases lack the resources which hinders the process. About 90% of the students qualify for free lunch. Some of the student are ELLs and need extra support to make the appropriate growth academically. The school creates and maintain a partnership between the home and school. We have Parents as Learning Partners and is in the process of offering GED and ESL classes to the parents.
