Funded Mar 24, 2019Thank you very much for your contribution to our Donors Choose project. Our classroom received headphones sets that help every student to engage individually in any of our reading and math apps. Their time actually working have increased since students don't lose time trying to find a working set, plugin and unplugging cords or simple giving up after many attempts to hear something.
We have 25 headphones sets and every one of us really appreciate them and take good care of them. We found a crate where they are collected after every use and numbered and packed our headphones are ready for the next time.
Our gratitude to all our donors that made possible our project and helped us to hear now.
Thank you”

Funded Sep 10, 2019ALL THE CHILDREN WERE really happy to find out what it was inside the box we received in our classroom, everybody was in immediate need of sharpening their pencils and color pencils.
Today, when I see my students approaching our writing center station to grab a pencil, I just feel grateful for the donors that helped us to be more efficient, organized and clean thanks to our electric heavy duty pencil sharpener. Now, we have a bucket of sharpened pencils and another bucket where we put the dull ones. During breaks or at the end of the day a classroom helper enjoys preparing those writing instruments for the next day. It is very nice to see how students learned the routines of grabbing a pencil and putting another back. Using the resources in the classroom to improve the learning experience throughout the day.
Thank you, thank you, thank you donor for your support to this project and for the positive impact that has created in our classroom.”

In our classroom students are learning in Spanish as a part of the dual language model implemented in our school. The center was a wonderful addition, because help the children to listen the correct pronunciation of the words in Spanish as well as it offers an interesting option for our reading time.
Our listening center has cordless headphones and students love the fact that they can be sitting in different areas in the classroom while listening the book played in the back.
The listening center and it components are appreciate and cared by all of us.”
