A good lab notebook is a scientist's best friend. It's the place where they jot down ideas, write down and plan out procedures, collect and analyze data, and draw conclusions about their research. Right now, all of the lab papers that students accumulate throughout the year end up falling through the cracks...jammed in lockers...left at home...or crumpled up at the bottom of their book bag. This becomes a big barrier when it comes time to review all of the progress we have made over the year. With one binding machine, we can help eliminate this problem. If this project is funded, we can use our new Fellowes Binding Machine to create bound personal copies of lab activities and store them in the classroom. Students would be able to maintain better organization and keep a record of their progress throughout the year. With the right binding, students can even store these lab books for future reference long after the school year is over.
