  • Help Make Our Senior Events Unforgettable!

    Funded Mar 25, 2025

On behalf of the 5th grade teachers and students, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donations. Thanks to you, our project is fully funded, and we know this will create an unforgettable experience for our 5th grade seniors as they close out their year. Your support means the world to us, and we are so thankful to have you as a part of our school community.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Albasheir

  • What's in the Bag?

    Funded Apr 16, 2023

Thank you so much for your contribution to my classroom. Because of your donation, we we were able to customize bags to hold the senior treats. Last week, we worked tirelessly to customize the bags with vinyl and our student's graduation year. We then stuffed the bags with the yearbook, senior t-shirt, and senior pen. I am happy to say that the bags turned out great.

Our students were both impressed and appreciative. Their faces lit up when the bags were distributed. The bags that each student took home, will always serve as a memory of 5th grade!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Albasheir

  • Let The Senior Activities Begin!

    Funded Feb 3, 2023

I want to thank you again for your donations. We have made use of every item that was donated. Because of your donations, our students had the best Senior Dance, complete with inflatable furniture, tons of balloons, and goodie bags. Their Senior Picnic included tons of games, activities, and photo booth props.

I wish you all could have seen the looks of their faces. Our students were both excited and appreciative of your donations.

The best thing about the donations is that we will be able to use them year after year to create enjoyable memories for every senior class.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Albasheir

  • Leveled Libraries Lead to Learning!

    Funded Sep 1, 2018

This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. The books that you donated have helped my students every single day. We have used them to grow our reading levels and to help us become even more engaged in our reading. The books are used for three 4th grade classes so that approximately 60 children get to enjoy reading engaging and leveled texts.

Without your help, my students might have never had these vital resources. Reading is essential to academic success so thank you for helping my students reach their full potential. I am sure that the donation provided will improve both their reading levels and reading comprehension. My goal this school year is to improve reading comprehension and independence. My goal is also to work on getting my students a little closer to grade level reading. With these books, the goal is reachable.

The excitement and enthusiasm that the students showed when the materials arrived is indescribable. More importantly, the excitement and enthusiasm they exhibit when picking up a book is even more wonderful!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Albasheir

My students visit our classroom library daily. Because my students have varying reading levels which range from early 2nd grade to early 5th grade, it is extremely important that they have access to a leveled library that offers engaging text at various levels. My classroom library needs books that all of my students can connect with. For example, some of my students can't get enough of Cam Jansen while others love to curl up with informational texts about animals. It can be discouraging when students want to read about a topic that is engaging to them but cannot access the text because it is not on their reading level. Therefore, I am making an attempt to improve our classroom library with leveled text so that even students who are reading below level can read the "just-right" books of their choice. By providing an improved leveled library, I can encourage students to read more often and help them build their confidence as readers!
