The greatest gift my students and I ever received were the computers. Receiving the technology helped my students to grow in reading and math performance. They were able to practice their reading in math skills daily in a fun and engaging way on apps such as I-Ready, ST-Math, Reflex math, and Lexia.
The computers were used during reading and math learning station rotations. They were also used to complete and submit district and teacher created assessments.

This classroom project was brought to life by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and one other donor.

These materials will allow my students to be able to practice and enhance their reading and math skills so that they will be on or above grade level by the end of the 2018-2019 school year. Having the Kindle Tablets and Chromebooks in my classroom, my scholars will be able to access the literacy and math program in the classroom. These materials will also enhance my students technology skills. We're living in the 21st century, where being tech savvy is important. My students will use these materials for learning, assessments, as well as conducting research. These materials will help all of my students to have access the literacy and math program daily.
