The supplies I have chosen to ask for are specific to our classroom needs this year. We will be learning English Foundations and Writing, which is successfully taught using project-based learning. We will be creating learning resources for our room rather than buying posters.
We will be creating mind maps, language learning hints, and helpers using student work, which we really need a printer for. I have also chosen to ask for help on some cleaning items because Arizona is hot and well, we are teenage kids! I want to thank you for considering helping us, I want us to make more with less because that is what we have, but that doesn't mean our work can't be powerful, or just as good as store bought.
Our walls may not have fancy electronic boards or store bought posters but they will be filled with student work, accomplishments and foster a sense of pride. Along with resources the students can use all year.
