The use of all these school supplies, like folders and chair pockets, will keep my students organized throughout all content areas, especially during english language arts and math. I want to show students that maintaining an organized desk and learning tools can improve their learning. My students are constantly searching in their desks for the next activity and they lose instructional time when they can not find their materials. With plastic prong folders, students will keep their classwork in one location for ELA and math times. They will no longer have to dig into their desks to find their classwork for interactive read aloud activities. Additionally, the pocket chairs will provide them with additional space to keep all their books and learning materials.
By donating these supplies, you will help my students improve and increase their attention through transitional times and thus increasing their academic achievement.
Students will be maintaining their focus on content rather than searching for their work. As future leaders, my students will need to learn how to stay organized because it is an important life skill that can be applied in different situations!
