Getting LIT in Math!

Thank you so much for your generous donation. I’m very excited to provide math literature to my students. Your donation will help provide many students with an opportunity to connect math and literacy. It will give them to bring a little fantasy into the math class. We are going to be LIT in Math!”

This classroom project was brought to life by The DonorsChoose.org Community and 3 other donors.

The books will be used in my math library. Students will be able to choose a book to read in class or check out. Some books will be used for shared reading to help introduce math topics. Students in my class will be able to get LIT for reading while learning math. Have a math library will show students the importance of reading across the curriculum. The opportunity to have a math class library will also help students build vocabulary, help them solve problems, and become confident in reading. Books in the our math class will make an impact in my students math experience.
