I am so excited to bring the whole world into my classroom this year! I am hoping to be able to use technology to make this a reality. There are so many ways to digitally explore our world, visit historical sites, find and record information, and make the outside world accessible to my students, without leaving the classroom. Using technology (specifically the iPad) will allow my students to do many of the activities I have planned that need the students to be able to use a QR code reader. This includes virtual field trips, interactive biographies, crack the code learning experiences, and creating their own videos. This will also give our class the opportunity to collaboratively write, draw, take notes, and share examples digitally, when projected onto the classroom whiteboard.
