When my students are finished with their art project, they need an engaging activity for the rest of the class time in art. Instead of working independently, my students need a chance to develop positive social skills and more opportunities to work with their peers! The Friendly Loom can be used across all grade levels to create an eye-catching work of our that will enrich our school community. Weaving will encourage collaboration, positive communication, and creativity across all grade levels. K-5 will not only experiment with weaving yarn, but we will be using recycled materials, raffia, cord, ribbon, pipe cleaners, and more!
