The mentor text will provide high interest stories for my students as they are learning about reading strategies such as theme and character traits. If I do not have interesting text, I loose my students attention quickly. The Who's Who series of books will not stay on the shelf in our school library, so I would love to have it in class for easy access for my students. All students deserve a nice comfy place to read a good book. Currently, I do not have a reading nook for my class, so the three beanbag seats will help build my reading area that will entice my students to want to go read.
