  • Farewell Graduates, You Did It!

    I would like to thank you for all your donations. Due to the late delivery of the items, our graduates had to come back to the school to collect their farewell gifts. Students were so happy to receive a bag with treats. One of the intern told us that he has never gotten so many treats in one day. We were so happy to give them something to show our graduates, how much we appreciate them and how much we will miss them. Thank you once again donors, you placed smiles on all 7 of our interns faces. Many Blessings”

  • Awesome Interns!

    My students and I would like to thank you all for your donations. They appreciate all that you have given to them. These students are such hard workers and they are very dedicated to this internship program. Our students interns at nursing homes, supermarkets, in the school, they also attend (Home Health Aide and Technology Program) at the Westchester Community College. Because of your generosity, our students are able to attend their internships and when they return to the building they can each receive a snack and water to hold then over until they get home. Once again that you so much for your kindness.”

  • Clerical Program

    My students are so grateful for the printer and shredder. They have learned how to print, fax, and scanned items from the printer. They are also leading how to shredding documents. My students are learning life skills that will benefit them in the professional world. Next week I will be updating their resumes and I am so proud to be able to add that they have learned and mastered new clerical skills. My students confidence has definitely increased since we received these items. When a staff comes in with items to be copied or scanned they are very excited to get to work because they are comfortable doing the job.”

  • Student-Run Cafe

    Funded May 5, 2020

    We would like to thank all the donors that donated to our program "Greenburgh Cafe". Our students were so elated when they found out that donors donated a refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven to their program. They cannot wait to open the cafe once again. Unfortunately due to "Covid-19", they are not able to use the items that was so graciously given to them. Our Cafe will not be open until Spring 2021. Hopefully by then our program will be up and runny once again. Our students can't wait to serve the school once more. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.”

My students are from very low economic families. Getting basic but very essential school supplies is very difficult for them. I am a transition and career educator. In my class I prepare the students for their futures. Sometimes it is difficult for them to believe a positive future is possible because the present times are very hard. With your generosity I would like to provide my students with basic school supplies like pens, pencils, notebooks, and paper. For the transition and job sites we need the id cases. We will also need the lamination machine for IDs and certificates. With your donation our students will be prepared not only for the school year but for their futures!

About my class
