We want to thank you very much for your generous donation to this project. We have been using our computer for a few weeks now. The impact that this brand new computer has made is amazing! With it we have been able to show our students the on-line math lessons as well as the science videos which complement our curriculum. We no longer need to stop our lessons to restart our frozen computer. It has completely changed the tone of our classroom and has contributed to the success of our students. Thank you again, so very much, for helping our students!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Verizon and 9 other donors.

The computer we are requesting will allow us to deliver mathematics and science instruction seamlessly without interruption or technology failure. Right now, the lessons we teach are projected to a interactive Smartboard from a very outdated desktop computer. Almost daily, lessons are interrupted because the computer will freeze, skip slides or the communication between the interactive board and computer will abruptly stop. This new desktop computer will allow us to access and display lesson materials without derailing lessons to troubleshoot technology problems. With a new computer, the students will be able to share their work using the capabilities of our interactive board. We will be able to resume "station" activities and give students multiple access points to all our lessons. Please help us give our students access to technology to enhance their learning on daily basis!
