My project would allow for my students to have a in class library with chapter books on their level. I currently teach 4th grade at CHE school and I think its important for children to have a comfortable space in order to meet their reading goals. We do not have a center for independent reading. We have centers for writing, listening to audible books, and for buddy reading, however we are lacking the center for independent reading. I believe that allow a comfortable space with the bean bags for the children to read to themselves, allows for them to have the opportunity to improve their reading skills, at their own pace.
