  • 1984 and Animal Farm, Relevant Today?

    Funded Sep 17, 2022

Thank you for funding our project. It is greatly appreciated and will be put to good use. Your support of our school and our students is very much valued. The classic titles of Animal Farm and 1984 as graphic novels will generate interest and literacy. Again, thank you very much.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Greene

  • AP Reads

    Funded Nov 3, 2019

Thank you very much for your donation. This will help expand our program and the horizons of our students. This is the very beginning of our history library and I cannot thank you enough. These books will help students connect historical concepts and literature broadening the scope of their education.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Greene

  • Student Athlete Mental Health Awareness

    Funded Apr 26, 2019

Thank you very much for supporting our school and our projects and efforts. This funding will definitely benefit our students and our coaches. This project addresses several needs that were identified by our students and were developed in collaboration with them. Your donations are very much appreciated and will help our project succeed.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Greene

Student athlete mental health is a focus for the upcoming school year. With the increased pressures of social media combined with the stress of academics and playing multiple sports, our school is taking steps to ensure that our student athletes are successful and able to handle adversity to hopefully make it an easier transition from high school to college. Using several books for awareness and training our school wants to raise awareness of student athlete mental health and the pressures and stresses that student athletes endure. To this end, using the book "What Made Maddy Run," our school will conduct mental health awareness training for our coaches. This will be combined with additional training and steps to be taken at the school level including establishing a servant leadership program for our student athletes and creating stronger ties between our high school athletes and younger athletes at our feeder middle and elementary schools.
