My 2nd and 3rd graders are learning how to experiment with different forms of written communication. My students will learn how to write narrative, informational, and opinion pieces. These materials will help my students develop strong writing skills in and outside of the classroom. Each child has a writing journal where their planning and writing will occur. It will have several pieces of writing that cover various topics that are chosen and written by the child. I want my students to be excited about writing, so I added a variety of writing utensils and special paper for their published pieces.
