Imagine entering the Science Lab and knowing that today is the day you will go on a field trip to the Great Barrier Reef without ever leaving your classroom. The sunlight shimmering down into the sea on the bright blues and pinks of the coral reef. A Parrotfish showing off its bright majestic colors glides by. A Grey Reef Shark eyes you as it slides past you, but you are not worried; you know it is safe on your 3-D virtual field trip. Help me give my students Google Expeditions to experience a real-world science adventure! Wow! What a priceless learning experience. My students will get to experience the magic of faraway places without ever leaving the classroom. Students will experience different ecosystems, space objects, and get a chance to roam with the dinosaurs. My students will connect with what they are learning in a new way. I will be making abstract science concepts and making them more concrete.
