In my classroom, I work with students in small groups throughout most of the day. Having a variety of tools readily available will help my students feel successful and hopefully minimize frustrations. The tablets would be used in many different ways. While writing my students might utilize the speech to text application to get their ideas out of their minds and onto a surface. We would also utilize the tablets to listen to stories online in order to help with fluency and expression as well as boost the students' love for reading. Additionally, I am interested in learning more about the Seesaw application. It is my understanding that this app would encourage my students to reflect on their learning and allow me to differentiate my instruction in order to help my students meet their individual goals. Often times, my students have difficulty regulating their behaviors and recognizing their feelings. Having the variety of fidgets as well as the stability balls would hopefully help them focus their energy in a more positive direction. My goal for this project is to be able to provide my students with the tools they need to feel comfortable and confident as learners and enjoy the experiences they have while at school.
