These items will help my students build and grow emotionally and educationally. The weighted vests will help my students cope and help them be more emotionally stable. Lots of children with autism carve deep pressure and the weighted vest help that need. The toys such as the letter bubbles, spinning toys, and movement scarfs will help them learn to play and engage more with sensory toys. My students often are afraid of touching new textures and items, so these toys will make the new texture they need to touch not as scary but more fun. My students abilities are low and include non-functional play skills. These toys will help promote play skills and engagement with new items. The end goal is for them to over come their sensory disorders or needs and begin to engage with other peers and development functional play skills.
