  • "Wood" You Help Us? We Need a New Table!

    I can not express enough gratitude for the new table for my classroom! My students now have a more comfortable workspace to read and work together on writing projects and utilize technology in a more spacious setting. I am able to work in small groups more frequently with students and can have my materials readily available. The unique "u" shape allows me to monitor all students in my group and accomplish my learning goals quickly and efficiently. I will be forever grateful for your assistance with obtaining this amazing resource!”

  • New Comfy Chairs!

    There are no words to describe how much these new chairs mean to my students. As soon as they arrived the look on each child's face was priceless. They could not wait until I called their name out to get their new chair. After all the chairs were given out I could hear the children talking at their tables "wow this is so comfy", one student said. "I can sit up nice and tall now!", said another student.

    Just after a week I already noticed a difference in the students performance in their classwork. They were more focused and able to sit for longer periods to time to complete their work. My students are working more carefully and writing a lot neater! I know it is because they are more comfortable in their new chairs!”

    This classroom project was brought to life by Staples.
The chairs will be used for my classroom tables. My students spend many hours in the day sitting at their table to complete work assignments, eat snack and play. Currently the chairs we have are hard metal and after awhile of sitting become unfomfortable. In these past years I have noticed how my students will start to wiggle around and loose focus due to their discomfort. With these new chairs, the students will be able to easily move them around to make circles around the floor or move near their buddy during buddy reading time. The new chairs will also assist me when I am working in a group with the students.

About my class
