I am hoping to add flexible seating options that will be areas where students can read comfortably in my classroom. There will be bookcases displaying genres that we will be working on that week and cozy seating for my students. I am trying to encourage and promote enthusiasm for reading. I am trying to create an environment that resembles home. So many of my students are never read to at home so this space will also be used for classroom read aloud. I plan on adding to this space in the future but hoping to get things started this fall.
