Foundational skills such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking will never ever not be needed. In Pre-K3, students begin to develop the skills that they will need for not only the rest of their school career but also their lives as literate citizens. Having the right tools to succeed is very important to create good student habits. Having Ticonderoga My First Tri-Write pencils will allow students to develop the motor skills needed to effectively hold a pencil and begin creating written products in the classroom. With the Tri-Write pencils students will practice math, writing and drawing skills to further their cognitive development and improve their bright future. In my Pre-K3 classroom my students are allowed free choice. Writing tools are not just limited to pencils. My students will have two other choices which include crayons and markers. These writing tools will enhance their imagination to help in creating great writing and/or drawings. My students will use the carpet spots to sit and listen to read alouds. This will assist with their imaginative minds and their artistic writings.. Writing is such an amazing way to express yourself. I want my students to be able to have the skill set to succeed in this competitive world as bi-literate people.
