My students come from diverse backgrounds. I teach in an urban setting and nearly all of my students live in poverty, come from broken homes and have to deal with many challenging obstacles on a daily basis. Despite these challenges, I teach my little Kinders to never give up and work extensively to develop a classroom community that is safe, enriching and a place for them to come and be successful learners. My students deserve to reach their full potential and are incredible kids!
