  • We Need a New Model, Our Old One Broke!

    Funded Oct 20, 2022

Thank you so much for providing my class with this very necessary model. The visual of this model really supplied them a learning tool that was so advantageous to standard learning modems. I currently teach grade kindergarten- second, and the look of amazement on my students face along with the look of understanding is exactly what I was hoping to achieve with the use of this model. We constantly reference the model and use it over and over again to clarify any questions and/or support our learning. Thank you again!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Finnegan

Children will be able to further their learning when they are able to conduct research independently prior to an experiment. Students will also be able to initiate their own experiments after learning about specific topics, therefore guiding their own learning. Having access to computers in science class will broaden their learning. As of today we share a set of computers with the entire school. Sometimes they are not always available to the science students. Which leads to a loss of flow of the lesson and learning. If the computers are always available to science students and just used specifically for science class students will always have internet access and will not miss out on immediate learning.
