We are a Title 1 school. My students live in a culturally diverse and economically challenged area. Many of our families can barely afford to keep a roof over their heads. Students at my school often arrive to school hungry and tired! In today’s economy school districts are struggling to supply the basics such as paper, pencils, and crayons. I cannot afford to fill my classroom with books and supplies and I can’t ask for help from families that have nothing.

About my class
