  • Individual Whiteboards for Improved Engagement!

    Funded Sep 3, 2024

Thank you for your generosity in providing materials for my students that help them to better understand the concepts that we are currently learning in math class. The graphs on the whiteboards help students to more accurately graph equations which was very helpful when we used them to find the slope and y-intercept. It is also super important for them to be accurate when we're using them to solve systems of linear equations using graphs.

My students really appreciate the new materials and are gaining a better understanding of the material because of these tools. THANK YOU for providing that opportunity for my students!”

    With gratitude,

  • An Apple for Our Classroom!

    Funded May 8, 2024

My students have LOVED the new Macbook. They have been able to seamlessly take photos and videos on the classroom iPads, airdrop them to the Macbook, and then utilize the iMovie software to make videos showcasing their work.

This has allowed the students to share their projects with their families, the rest of the school, and even the community. Students have also had the opportunity to learn a new piece of technology and have been able to utilize that in helping to put together video morning announcements for our school. Your donation has allowed us to do some pretty awesome things in our classroom. THANK YOU!”

  • HELP Us ESCAPE the Classroom!

    Funded Jul 14, 2021

Thank you so much for funding this project! My students were super excited about the Escape Room activities and this project gave us just the materials that we needed to make them even more exciting. The students would ask to do these activities each week and through the use of the Escape Rooms, not only did I see the excitement build around concepts but I saw improvements in learning concepts and problem solving as well. By the end of the year, I had students who would struggle to even participate in the beginning start to emerge as leaders in their groups. Your generosity allowed this to happen! Thank you so much for funding this project.”

  • Help Us Stay Connected - Adobe PRO

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Thank you so much for your donation! This program has allowed me to better communicate with my students during this period of blended learning/remote learning. The program has also allowed students to become more technology literate - they are now familiar with fillable PDF files. Students are able to create, type, save and upload this type of file. It was a bit of a learning process, but they are pros at submitting their assignments now! Thank you again for your donation that allowed me and my students to stay connected during this time!”

  • Distance/Digital Learning During COVID-19

    Funded Sep 16, 2020

Thank you so much for funding this project! The materials have been used to make this unprecedented time in teaching more "normal." Students are staying in one classroom all day long - which means their math classroom was not set up as a math classroom for all students. These materials have allowed me to bring the appropriate materials to each classroom in order to make things more "normal." The resources have helped us to stay organized and on top of our assignments during this period of blended learning/remote learning. Thank you so much for your donations that made this project possible!”

  • Measure, Calculate, 3-D Print!

    Funded May 28, 2020

Thank you so much for funding this project! The students were so excited when they walked into the classroom and saw the 3-D printer/materials. Students first learned how to used the printer by setting it up and printing a saved file and then they researched and found their own file to print. Many selected puzzle cubes or their favorite characters. Students are now in the process of creating their own 3-D objects to print. They've researched dimensions and scaled them to the appropriate size to print.

During this time of remote/blended learning, this helps provide student engagement. Students are excited to get back and print their object and see what others from the other day have chosen to print/create. Thank you so much for your donations that made this project possible!”

  • Our Future Is COLORFUL With a Colored Printer!

    Funded May 6, 2020

Thank you so much for funding this project! It has given us the opportunity to print our projects in color and share them! Students enjoy being able to print their projects in color and then post them on the bulletin boards in the hallways which allows them to share their projects in the original colored format with the entire school. During this time of remote/blended learning, this helps provide student engagement. Students are able to post/share their projects with their peers even if they do not attend school on the same days. The printer has made projects easier (and way more fun!) Thank you so much for your donations that made this project possible!”

  • Help Us Learn to Solder!

    Funded Mar 23, 2020

Thank you so much for helping to fund this project for my students! Unfortunately, with COVID, all students haven't been able to complete the project yet. The students that have completed it have absolutely loved the activity and the others can't wait to complete it!

When my students first saw the materials they were very unsure about what we were going to do - or even what most of the materials were. It was interesting to watch them just explore the materials and guess what we might do with them. Eventually, they decided we could probably use the materials to make the lights 'light up' which is exactly what we did.

The students that have completed the project are very much looking forward to continuing working with soldering and seeing what else they can do - some want to create "Christmas Lights" others want to explore the ability to have a button to make noise. All students are excited! That excitement was only possible because of your donation. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Malone

Help me give my students equipment that will take their projects to the next level! Within the gifted classroom, students will use the Cricut and materials to create t-shirts to show school and team pride when competing in various state-wide events. They will cut pieces to be used in building objects for multiple STEM activities/challenges. The students will also learn about sustainability and economics in researching and devising a plan to provide funding for future projects using the Cricut. Allowing students to access new technology brings a level of excitement and engagement! Students will use the Cricut in the math classroom to cut nets so that students can create three-dimensional figures. Students will have hands-on opportunities to see how the net creates the shape and then use the figures to find the surface area and volume and students will be able to use the machine to cut pieces to construct 3-D models based on scale drawings.
