Engage & Explore: Creating a Sensory-Friendly Classroom
Funded Dec 7, 2024I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of sensory items and social-emotional tools to my classroom. Your support has made a profound impact on our learning environment and the well-being of my students.
The sensory items you provided have been a game changer for many of my students. They offer them a way to self-regulate, focus, and engage more fully in their learning. The social-emotional tools have also equipped my students with essential skills to navigate their feelings and build positive relationships with their peers.
Thanks to your generosity, I have already seen improvements in classroom dynamics. Students are more engaged and better able to express themselves. This has created a more inclusive and supportive atmosphere where everyone can thrive.
Your kindness has not only enriched our classroom but has also inspired my students to understand the importance of giving back to others. We are truly grateful for your support and commitment to enhancing our educational experience.
Thank you once again for your thoughtful contribution. We look forward to sharing more successes with you as we continue to grow and learn together.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Galvin
"Zooming Up Time"
Funded Jun 8, 2020Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your incredible support of my classroom. It has been a challenging year and the end of year gift brightened up students. Up until March 19, 2020 my students were "marching" steadily towards success and marking new achievements.
That "march" was to culminate in a "moving up" ceremony in June. Then Covid-19 struck and our trajectory was suddenly interrupted.
Reflecting back on the past year I am still struck by my students' determination to keep learning. They have faced many obstacles but have tried their best. Although they missed an in person "moving up" ceremony. They were so excited to receive the inspiring story of The Little Engine That Could . I wanted them to know that they must keep going and never give up. They also we're excited for their sunglasses (that brightened up their day ) and beach ball to enjoy over the summer.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Galvin
