Does sitting in a desk all day sound fun to you? Do you find it hard to pay attention when you are uncomfortable? If this is hard for adults, imagine what it is like for children! Research shows that students are more engaged when they are comfortable and able to move around the room. Flexible seating offers students a way to be in control of their learning by allowing them to choose where in the classroom they will work. Third graders are learning to take more responsibility for their own education. While some students enjoy working at a desk, others prefer standing. These music stands will give them a place to work in the classroom to best meet their own needs without blocking other students from seeing the board.
