I believe flexible seating allows students to make choices and have more responsibility over their learning. This is something I would like to implement throughout this school year. I would like to try a few different seating options and see which ones my students seem to find work for them. Flexible seating has proven to be successful in many classrooms. My students will have more independent time this year to work around the room, and I would like for them to choose locations or seating options that they believe will be a good fit for them. Right now they have a few places around the room to choose from such as other tables and a few "fun" chairs in the room. I would really like to have more options for more students, and even try some of them during instruction time as well.
