School supplies are so important in any classroom. My students come from homes that may not be fortunate enough to gather school supplies for their child, and with our current economic climate, many families simply can't afford to buy supplies this year. This project will put new school supplies in my students' hands when we return to school. MY students are capable of so much when they have the right tools. They love to dry erase markers, markers, crayons, glue sticks, and scissors. With those supplies and the five-pocket folders in this project, I will be able to ensure that each student has their own supplies. This is essential to make sure we stay healthy and happy. Additionally, I will be able to ensure that we stay as safe as possible when we return to the building because I will have enough cleaning and sanitizing materials to keep my students as safe as possible. Normally, when school begins, we have a container or two of cleaning materials. We share them and use them occasionally. Now, when we arrive back to school, I want students to have their own supplies, to use when they need it. Students should have their own materials to stay safe while in the classroom. Each student should have their own pack of wipes to properly sanitize their hands and their work area. We should not have to share, supplies in a pandemic. The possibility of getting severely sick is a risk I don't want my students to endure. I am hoping that each student comes back to school, with little, to no possibility of contracting anything in the classroom. Please help us stay safe, healthy, and happy this school year!
