The students are 4, 5 and 6 six year old students that have never been in school before. There is a mixed diversity between the students. Most of the students are from single parent homes. Our elementary School is a Title I school. The purpose of Title I is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging State academic achievement standards and state academic assessments. This purpose can be accomplished by providing children an enriched and accelerated educational program.
