Through the use of Scholastic Arts magazines, students will be able to see artworks by the Masters and see what techniques these artists used. Students then can experiment and try those same techniques to create their own artwork masterpieces. Students will be able to see the different types of art - - abstract, real, surreal, etc. Students will see how to use different art mediums such as pencils, paints, oil pastels, soft pastels, paper mache, clay, carvings, etc. Students can get inspiration and ideas from looking at other people's artwork and how artwork from students the same age as them looks like.
