  • Technology for First Graders!

    Thank you so so so much for your generous and impactful contribution to my classroom. Incorporating a technology station to my reading centers has given the kids the opportunity to apply what we are learning in a variety of ways. They get so excited to visit the "cool" technology station!

    We have also been using the buzzer system. I can't tell you how much we love this. It turns any activity into a game show and brings the excitement level to a 10!

    It also gives me the opportunity to address winning and losing, the importance of teamwork, and good sportsmanship.

    I strongly feel that when the students are excited, engaged and motivated they enjoy coming to school and they learn so much more. The materials I purchased with your your donations not only enhanced my classroom activities but they make my students happy! That means the world to me!

I will be using the tablets to engage the students with educational applications, research, and STEM activities. The headphone splitters will turn the tablets into interactive listening stations that will allow groups to work together, listen to audio-books and participate in educational games. The buzzer system will bring life to the lessons and encourage healthy competition between my class teams. These technology supplies for my classroom will give them the skills they need to thrive in today's world! In this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!

About my class
