The books in the cart are going to be used daily in SSR time for students to silently read a book of their choosing. They will also be available for students to check out and take home whenever they want to. We lack a school library, but my students need to have books available to them. With these new books, my students will be able to have a variety of books to read at any time. Many of my students do not have access to books at home, so having books at school is their one chance to read. I took a survey of my students and the books that they wanted to read. Each and every one of the books on this list was requested by students in my classroom. This project will encourage my students to read more and to read as much as they possibly can.
