Cooking Our Way to Success!

Our students were thrilled to make an entire day's menu to "eat healthy on a budget". They loved the vegetables the best, however, they also loved making the smoothies and tomato sauces with the blender as well. We made black beans, wheat pasta, vegetables, fruit - mixed smoothies, small pizzas, and chicken dishes. Our desert, to make things interesting, were Italian zeppoli.

When the students saw the two huge boxes, they were instantly curious. When the items were revealed they seemed so excited and were all shouting at the same time "let's make" with all kinds of ideas being thrown around.
