The items were specifically selected to make sure that their classroom library is a safe and warm place. The rug ensures that the area is comfortable. The flexible chairs are a positive consequence to reading. Lastly, the book bags provide each student with the responsibility of maintaining their books after they have book shopped for the week. My students love the opportunity to choose their seating arrangements during their learning. Having different flexible seating arrangements available in their classroom library will invite them to read for fun while giving them the incentive to use our tools in other curriculum areas.
