5th Grade PBL
Funded Dec 12, 2023Thank you for supporting our project that allowed our students to conduct their project-based learning unit on floods. Materials were used for students to research and create innovations. The students really stepped up, worked collaboratively, and got creative. It was so refreshing to see students so engaged and excited in their inquiry and findings. They used the STEM materials such as clay, sand, straws, and legos to design and build a flood barrier prototype that they tested. We also used the printer to print the students final projects, timelines, and data so that we could display student work. The students were proud of themselves and excited to present and show off what they had done. Thank you for supporting our school.”

We Need a Printer to Display Our Work
Funded Nov 29, 2022Thank you so much for donating to my project! This is such a useful tool for our classroom, and my students and I are so grateful for your generosity. I can't wait for this printer to enhance our lessons and allow us to display more student work. It will help my students become autonomous learners, who are proud to show off their assignments.”

This classroom project was brought to life by an Anonymous Classroom Supporter and 9 other donors.Digital Learning
Funded Oct 9, 2021Technology is used frequently in today's classrooms, however, not all schools have the same access to updated technology. The iPad this project has given my students is used for lessons, research, and to create digital portfolios to highlight student progress.
My students enjoy using this iPad to project activities, math problems, and photos on our smartboard. Since our smartboard touch screen is broken, it has allowed my students to still share their work, in the same way the smartboard would. We have also used the iPad to take pictures of student work, and add to a digital portfolio where students get to display the work that they are most proud of. This iPad was also helpful for research we have done for our Native American unit, Black History Month, and multiple science projects.
Some of my students have limited access to technology at home. They used the iPad to get their research and work done in school. My students and I are very grateful. Your generosity has made this school year more productive, successful and enjoyable.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Burke
