  • Cozy Reading Corner

    Thank you so much for your generous donations. The materials that we were able to get from Donors Choose have helped our classroom tremendously. It has made it possible for us to create a cozy and comfortable environment for learning.

    Our new carpets are great for story time and class meetings. We love having a comfortable area to sit with our friends and read all of our books. Our new book bins are great for keeping all of our books organized! We love that we have enough bins so that each one of us can even take one to our desks!

  • A Cozy and Comfortable Classroom

    Thank you so much for your donations. It really means a lot to me and my students. We are very thankful for your generosity. Since we spend so much time in our classroom, it is wonderful that we are able to have flexibility and organization!

    Our new flexible seating is great! We love getting to choose where we sit and what is comfortable for us. Getting to change seats and move around the classroom help our ability to focus and get our work done. We especially love the yoga balls!

    The chair pockets are great for keeping us organized. They can fit all of our materials, even our computers! Having all of our materials right at our seats is so helpful. Thank you!”

  • My First Year of Teaching

    This donation helped me and my very first students. It was amazing to see how many people donated. Because of these items, my students were able to have a hands-on, active, and motivating learning experience. These items helped us stay organized and on task. This year will be the beginning of my teaching career. I am looking to get different materials for my classroom for the upcoming schoool year in order to ensure that my students will have access to the materials they need to succeed. With this being my first year teaching in my own classroom, I need a lot of different materials to help my students achieve success. My school is a STEM based charter school that focuses on creating life-long learners. I am asking for basic school supplies, manipulatives, STEM based materials, books, organizational tools, and anything else that might help the kiddos! I asked for many manipulatives for my classroom including magnet tiles, wooden shapes, play-dough and more so that my students can learn using hands-on materials. I also asked for art supplies including construction paper and paint so that students can create projects and see their artwork throughout the classroom. Lastly, I requested many organizational tools such as student mailboxes, chair back buddies and tiny tub caddies so that our classroom can have structure for learning and that the materials are easily accessible to students. My goal for students who use these resources is for them to become life-long learners in a classroom that is safe, organized, predictable, accessible and the least restrictive.
