We will read this text in class, and study, in-depth, the context, themes, and language presented in Bryan Stevenson's first-hand account of his experiences in the legal field. Students will use Stevenson's example to create change in our community through project-based learning. This project will expose my students to the limitless potential they each possess. In today's society, it is vitally important that our young people see, hear, and read hopeful messages that portray the diversity of our world in a positive light. Stevenson's story provides a model that my students can use to effect real change in their world.
