Funded Dec 1, 2023On behalf of myself and staff, I wanted to express my deepest gratitude. Your generous donation was help out students on a daily basis. The new headphones allow our students to engage in their computer work more independently. They are able to listen to individualized lessons, as well as their favorite music. The amazon echo also is a fun way for students to engage in their own personal curiosities. For example, asking the weather, how tall is the statue of liberty, ask jokes, or just to play fun songs. The addition of classroom colored ink allows students to have real world pictures. Students love receiving colored anchor charts, and visuals with a personalized touch of color. It also allows me to decorate my classroom with fun seasonal displays. Lastly, the added treats are a great way for students to earn a extra special treat, or a snack that they will always enjoy. Once again, I am so grateful for your generosity, and apologize for the delayed response. Your donation means so much to a population that needs it.”
With gratitude,

Funded Nov 29, 2022The students I teach need many added levels of support. One area is communication needs, their ability to express themselves to others. A second is accessing their curriculum. Lastly, is their daily living skills and routines. These can be the challenges they face daily.
Communication is something most of us take for granted. It is how we express what we want, and need. It is how we form relationships with each other. Social interactions are what we need to be happy. By receiving your donation my students now have access to reliable products to create these communication systems. Not only is it reliable, but they are in color, they are pictures of what they see, and what they know. Students can show me what they want/need, they can request food, express their feelings, preferred items, and answer questions. The look on a child's face when they realize you understand them is priceless. Students success rate has skyrocketed as a result of your donation. From the bottom of my heart, I can't express how impactful your donations have made on these children's daily lives. This item is something I would have never have had without your support. I am so grateful that their our generous people like yourselves committed to a foundation like this.”
With gratitude,
